The activity involves co-operative learning groups who pretend to be travel agents, each given their own set of customers , researching and planning a trip to South Africa! they learn the process of booking planes, searching for hotels for suitable dates, comparing prices, using online converters to convert rands into pounds and putting it all together into a PowerPoint presentation to present to their peers. My class loved the context and learned a great deal of ICT skills as well as South African geography from Google maps and places to visit.
