A warning to be displayed on the board showing how much time has been wasted during the lesson as a result of talking and poor behavior. Students can be warned that they will need to make this time up at break / lunch. This should work as a visual deterrent to discourage further poor behavior and an opportunity is created to 'earn this time back'.

A good resources, particularly for challenging and weak classes.
